The remote server can't stay in the same forest if it is not connected. You
won't be able to use FRS.
As far as DNS is concerned, I hear the question but I don't see what you are
trying to achieve by it. In DNS, you can manually give any address to any
host. So if you have Server2 and you want to give an internet address, you
just manually create the host record. Another version of this is where
Server2 is actually a host in a different DNS zone, like abc.com. Then in
the local DNS you can create an alias that says that server2.abc.net is an
alias for server2.abc.com. If it is an alias, then the local DNS service
needs to be able to resolve the abc.com zone.
But I don't think this has anything to do with FRS,
