Sorry you're frustrated. There is a paradigm shift with Vista and hence a
learning curve. If the OS is not working out of the box on the Dell
computer then Dell is the one to be upset with. They made the custom
drivers and did the custom install.
If the problem is with 3rd party software, then you need to contact the
software authors for compatibility help. Drivers are the responsibility of
the hardware manufacturer if a retail device or the computer OEM.
You say "you guys" but FYI you're not talking to MS here. This is a peer to
peer support newsgroup, everyone posting here is a volunteer. Sorry but it
won't help you much to yell at us. We're just trying to help other users
like ourselves.
If you post some specifics for the problems maybe someone here has some
ideas that might help.
On the other hand you might want to return that computer and get one that
suits you. There are vendors that will supply XP. Even Dell will when
bought through the right channels as someone posted here recently.
