FTP and uploading a website to server

I have uploaded an oscommerce website to the server at my webhost. The
problem i have is finding the CHMOD function. In EI i type ftp and the
website name and than get a site that contain the uploads. A text tell me to
click on site and then open FTP place in explore to get this place shown in
Windows explore. I don´t understand it! (sorry if the words not fit exatly,
it an translate)
I have to chance the rights in the files on the website and make 2 new. The
webhost tell me to contact you, can you help me, please?

You will need to use a FTP client that has the ability
to issue commands. IE will not do this.

There are several free FTP clients I use FileZilla
By right clicking on the remote file you can set it's properties.

Ah, thanks a lot. I just get fileZilla and just have to find out how that
works, lol. Thanks again.
