FTP associon problem

I am no longer able to associate e.g. internet explorer to ftp, because FTP
(also HTTP, HTTPS0) is missing in the "Set associations" window (control
panel>default programs>associate fyletype..). This problem means that I am
unable to op FTP sites. Anybody know how to solve this problem. Thanks for
any help
