FTP problem

I am no longer able to associate e.g. internet explorer to FTP, because FTP
(also HTTP, HTTPS0) is missing in the "Set associations" window (control
panel>default programs>associate fyletype..). This problem means that I am
unable to open FTP sites. Anybody knows how to solve this problem. Thanks

any help

Did you enable the necessary options in IE ?

Tools > Internet options > Advances tab >

There are 2 options to enable in the Navigtation section.
