FTP in Vista ---- does FTP come with Vista Ultimate No I think... so
has anyone used CuteFTP?

FTP in Vista will replace FrontPage and Expressions.

I tested FTP on my Frontpage web with extension on the Host as the
Host has been broken for last 20 days when they changed servers 1 June
2007... perfect timing. http://www.globalhosting.com

FTP will publish your index.html created in Frontpage I just tested
it... now...

FTP which is a protocol, does not replace FrontPage and Expressions Web, which are
"programs."

As a "protocol" FTP publishing is the alternative to publishing to an http:// address
which requires FrontPage "Extensions."

Yes, Vista is quite capable of publishing using the ftp:// protocol because the "File
Transfer Protocol" is built into the OS.

What's happened to WebDAV in Vista/IE7 ?

I can't get it to work as I could with XP, to save stuff to my server,
remotely.

The loss of My Network Places is another crappy thing about Vista. That
useless mess of linked windows that replaces it is ridiculous.

You can actually add network places to [My] Computer, by right clicking
within it. This is a totally stupid place to put it IMO.

Unfortunately I don't know because I've never used Webdav.
