Hi

OK did that
downloaded and got the message installed correctly

restarted computer etc etc.

eventually got vista back up

guess what !!!!

windows updater is telling me that i need to install
update--

you guessed it KB935807

now

we cant have it both ways
either its installed or it isnt

which is it ???

You can check which updates are installed on your computer by -
Start button || Control Panel || Programs
Under Programs and Features - click View installed updates.

The update may still be cached in the softwaredistribution\download folder from the
previous attempt at auto updating.
Find it and remove it.
