Gadget in Windos 7

Hi,

as I dont't find any Windows 7 groups on this server, I write here. If
someone knows a better suited group. please say so.

My problem is a Gadget for the former Vista Sidebar (now Gadgets are shown
on the desktip) that stopped working in Windows 7.
In the gadget's html file I am using an object html tag to display an active
x object. Insted of the object, I only get a red cross in Win 7.

I use the <permissions>full tag in the manifest.

Any ideas?

I am really disappointed that MS is not going to have any NNTP groups
for Windows 7. There is a Usenet group which (so far) is behaving in a
civilized manner: alt.windows7.general
