Hello erling1000,
I would recommend exiting the Windows Sidebar before playing games which
switch the display resolution as a way to work around this. To exit the
Windows Sidebar, right click on the Sidebar icon in the notification area
next to the clock, and then click on Exit.
You can restore the Windows Sidebar by clicking on Start, All Programs,
Accessories, and then finally click on "Windows Sidebar".
Hope this helps, have a great day!
