Got Vista Home Premium... installed gadgets in sidebar and on desktop. After
playing games in another resolution - does that a lot - the gadgets on the
desktop changes position and lays on top of each other and on top of my icons
and shortcuts - have to move them all back each time

Anyone know this and knows what to do?

bye

This seems to be a thing with Windows where the game is switching to a low
resolution adjusting the desktop to play the game but Sidebar is not
remembering itself.

Hello erling1000,

I would recommend exiting the Windows Sidebar before playing games which
switch the display resolution as a way to work around this. To exit the
Windows Sidebar, right click on the Sidebar icon in the notification area
next to the clock, and then click on Exit.

You can restore the Windows Sidebar by clicking on Start, All Programs,
Accessories, and then finally click on "Windows Sidebar".

Hope this helps, have a great day!
