What game?

I am after a game for my playstation 2. My collection of games is of basic
difficulty and some would say rather childish. For my next game, I would
like to have one of fighting (modern or medieval warfare) but one that is
not too childish. What would you recommend for me?

Childish is as childish does - it's all relative. You need to think about
whether you mean a shoot 'em up type of game or a strategy one, etc. Anyway,
what I'd recommend is:

1) A PS2 game, not a Vista one. (This being a Vista group and all.)

2) Walking to the shops and having a good browse through the shelves of PS2
games. (NB: Vista games will most likely not be hugely compatible with your
PS2 (this being a Vista group and all.)) Note the names of several you like
the look of then hit Google with the name of the game followed by the words
"PS2" and "review".

I can't believe anyone had to ask this question...

If you don't want a childish game then you should buy a game for the PC and
not PS2. Get Total War: Medieval II.
