Games and dos based games

I Am using Xp Pro and have SP@ installed. Lately my system seems to be doing
funny things. I had the Mcrosoft games that came with the System i.e spider
etc now they are gone and I cant get them back >Have Tried Reinstalling them
from windows componets. I Also have a number of Dos based games I like
playing ,that worked fine now I have to "expand config.nt, autoexec.nt and
command.co from the windows disc every time I want to play them. How do I get
around these problems please.
