Games crash, Windows shuts down.

This has happened quite a few times now.
When I go to the event viewer, and applications the following notes are
always there at the time of the crash. What are they and can I stop them.

wuauclt (2648) The database engine 5.01.2600.2180 started.
wuaueng.dll (2648) SUS20ClientDataStore: The database engine started a new
instance (0).
wuaueng.dll (2648) SUS20ClientDataStore: The database engine stopped the
instance (0).
wuauclt (2648) The database engine stopped.

Nothing else is there at the time, and I don't get an error message.

Perfectly normal and probably nothing to do with your problem symptoms.

If you'd like to verify that look in your WindowsUpdate.log for
messages about the same time as the timestamps on the events
you are noticing. Unless those timestamps are always coincident
with your crashes I think you can drop those details from consideration.
