Games For Windows LIVE 3.0 keeps installing over and over again

Over the past week or so, Games For Windows Live has been updating over and
over again. Every time, it claims it has installed sucessfully, but no
matter what, within minutes of turning on my computer, the shutdown button is
marked with a "installs updates and then shuts down your computer" label.
And sure enough, if I do this, LIVE reinstalls version 3.0. It's getting a
bit irritating, and I'm concerned it may be eating up hard drive space.

My answer is Download latest Messenger, but if your on Vista it shoudn't
download messenger 3.0. it should download the latest 1 for u! ! ! OR go
into CONTROL PANEL then click PROGRAMS AND FEATURES and then remove messenger
fom there and download the latet 1 after. if that don't work, i'm sory bu i
tried to help!!!
