Hello everyone,

Just installed Autodesk Autocad 2007 trial cd.
Next morning my pc as usual went to MS update and returned that my pc needed
GDI+ security update for September 2004 which addresses a security issue in
JPEG processing technology.
I downloaded the tool, and it send me to a MS website with an activeX that
could resolve the problem, however nothing happened. Does this tool support
XP Media Center?
Strange thing is that I run XP Media Center, which i running XP SP2 which
shouldn´t be affected by this security issue.
What do you suggest?

Autocad 2007 is running on a Fujutsi Siemens laptop
Intel Duo core, 1.73 ghz 1024 mb ram totally updated Media Center XP

My regards

See
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/secu...jpeg_tool.mspx

<QP>
Important: Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) is not affected by the GDI+
issue, and installing Windows XP SP2 eliminates the GDI+ issue in affected
Microsoft developer tools and imaging software. **However, Windows XP SP2
users may have other Microsoft software installed that requires updating.**
If you use Windows XP SP2 and Microsoft Office, please visit the Office
Update Web site to scan your computer for needed updates.

Hello Bear

Thank You for Your reply.

Yes I saw that, but I dont have MS Office installed, and neither other new
MS products, the Autocad is from Autodesk, it is a 3d drawing program.
