GDI+ Update

I think I did something with the GDI update tool, and now everything looks
like it has heavy JPEG compression applied to it. Pictures, Movies, Games.
Basically, anything that is dark appear to have funky colors.

The Microsoft GDI+ Detection Tool scans your computer for
Microsoft software, and then displays a message that you may need to
update your Microsoft software. Its installation is unrelated to
your purported issue.

I installed the tool this morning and am having the same problem as the
"sprint" user. The fuzzy fonts only started after I installed the tool, so
where are they coming from if they are not related to the tool I installed?
