GDS runtime error...

Because vista's indexing doesn't work properly, I installed Google
desktop search. approximately every 15-30 minutes a runtime error pops
up, R6025, a pure virtual function call. I've already googled for
answers and there are none. one thread asked someone if they were
running add ins; he wasn't; neither am I. another thread revealed that
GDS doesn't support Vista 64 bit; I'm not running it.

Anyone know first hand why this error keeps cropping up? its coming
from the microsoft c++ runtime library. maybe the issue is the version
or a flaw with the installation??? In add/remove programs list i see
microsoft c++ 2005 redistributable listed. i remember that being
installed during some program installation a few weeks back. I just
reinstalled the redistributable 2 days ago. no change.

It would be tempting to suggest that you should have concentrated your
efforts on resolving issues with "vista's indexing" that "doesn't work
properly", rather than flitting from tool to tool, but I'll refrain.

Sounds like a coding error. Reinstalling may help.
