If Crysis will run, then you know the issue is with Gears of War not liking
something on your computer. It could be the video card, the power supply,
the sound, anything. You could replace the video card, but from a practical
standpoint you'd be better off spending the money on a console and playing
Gears of War on it instead. A top-end video card would cost more than an
Xbox 360 and you would have no way of knowing that Gears of War would run
on your computer.
I won't say PC gaming is exactly dead like many industry people do, but this
is exactly why consoles work so well. Unless there is a rare glitch, when
you buy Gears of War for the Xbox 360 you know it will work.
Sorry for your troubles. The only other thing I can suggest is to look for a
user forum for the game and post there.
