Gears of War trouble.

After I install Gears of War I get a "Instullation wizard has stopped
running and my start up code has been modifed. When I go the the main
menu O the game and press play I am stoped and a message pops up that
says it can not be played on a modifed code.

HI underground2987...

The digital signature issue has been fixed and certified by Microsoft so you
no longer have to set you clock back to play Gears of War for Windows. You
can get it right now:

This update fixes an expired digital signatures issue that prevents all
earlier versions of the game from launching. This is a required update.
Please download and install the update before launching the game.

This update incorporates all previous updates and bug fixes for Gears of War
for Windows, where applicable.

Ok the patch worked great, but now the game plays long enough to get
through the main screen options and cut out and a message pops up saying
windows has stopped working and shuts down the game. What do I do now.
