genuine validation & hardware changes

Hi,
For environmental reasons I try to prolong my PCs life. My last PC had
updgrades to the hard disks, memory, processor, bios, expansion cards and OS
all over 10 years! I've just built a new PC and purchased a retail copy of XP
Pro.

Will the genuine validation prohibit future upgrade changes? According to
the FAQ the following info is collected by GV:

Windows product key
PC manufacturer
Operating System version
PID/SID
BIOS information (make, version, date)
BIOS MD5 Checksum
User locale (language setting for displaying Windows)
System locale (language version of the operating system)

I don't know what PID/SID is but I can see many of the above changing over
the life of the PC including motherboard and language.

NO, you may need to reactivate and the worst case is the need to activate by
phone.
Phone activation usually takes about 5 minutes.
