How to get all updates since SP2

We just purchased a couple of new computers from Dell that are pre-installed
with Windows XP Professional and SP2. These machines will never connect to
the internet, but will be used for testing our software. These machines needs
to have all of the latest updates installed. Is there a way to easily
download or get a CD that has all updates since SP2?

I realize that I can download each individual patch and put on a CD, but
that will take forever! I'm hoping that Microsoft releases consolidated
patches on a regular basis so that I can download just a few consolidated
ones.

Note: The patches MUST COME FROM MICROSOFT. All software installed on our
machines must be corporate approved and hence we are unable to use other
services such as www.autopatcher.com

I'm going to need all updates for Microsoft Office 2003 with SP2 as well, if
you happen to know this answer too!

Thanks much!

Read your other post - glad to see you have got here as well.
I shall watch - eager to see if there is a way of doing what you want - cant
say I have found anything yet.
Have you noticed this months probs here in updates :-( :-(
But at least your new computers are not on a company server so many are of
no consequence to you.

You download the latest AutoPatcher for XP at
http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showforum=89

It is over 200Mb download but has just about everything you'll need.

Hi Jerry
Just tried your link - cant say I could see the download you refer to - it
was the forum?
Tried their home site - under construction.
In any case, she wants 'everything' she needs - not 'just about'.
I did get something from your link - 4 tracking cookies.
Anyway - you missed the bit Julie stated -

The download for AutoPatcher is from within the forum. Just go to the forum

Antes la Vista or hasta la Vista ?
<nudge, nudge> Would be nice if there were a Security CD for XP SP2 as
there was for Win 9x </nudge,nudge>

Run the Microsoft Baseline Secuirity Analyzer on one computer. (a free
download) This will tell you what patches you need. Get the patches manually
and save to a folder.

Now get sus.exe from http://mylogon.net/sus/

Put sus.exe onto a CDR or DVD+R
Put your downloaded patches intoa subfolder appropriate to the OS, for
example WIN_XP

Run sus.exe on each computer, and it will install the patches.

Alternatively, user a shared folder to do this.

When more patches become available, add them. The existing ones won't be
reloaded.

Limitations: only works for patches which use the standard
commandline-syntax, which basically means Microsoft ones. Flash, Quicktime
or whatever patches may have to be done manually.

I haven't used it in a while, (since WinME actually), but MS used to offer
updates on a CD that were current to the date you ordered it. It was also
free! Somewhere on the update site, there was a link to order all the
current updates on a CD. I ordered it and used it several times. It is a
lot faster then trying to download and install them.

Yes Derf, they do offer a CD of updates - its called SP2 - the OP has SP2
already - what they want is all the 60-70 update/patches/fixes since then -
there is no SP3 on a disk - some say there will be in 2007, but don't hold
your breath

all updates since SP2...
