I get a connection but no sync

Hi,

I can connect my pocket pc with my laptop, but
unfortunately synchronisation does not occur, either upon
connection or as changes are made to outlook.

In ActiveSync on my lasptop the sync icon is not
highlighted.

When I try to sync via the pocket pc nothing happens
either.

I am using windows xp, and my firewall is via my work's
server.

Hi,
Do you have a firewall installed? If so it can prevent ActiveSync from
synchronizing.
