Hi to all,

Due to technical problems I had to reformat my HD and re-install Vista
Ultimate 32bits from scrash.
Since that date everything is fine but I lost all the Dream Scene files that
were previously installed on my system.
I have only one left that come from the install CD. Does anybody know where
to get the additional mpg or wmv files
that were distributed some time ago on windows update ? (they are no longer
available there) Thanks for your help.

Hey there Amlandreau,

You should be able to find it in one of two different places. Go to
Start>Programs, and you should see Windows Ultimate Extras. Click on that
and it'll look for them.

Oooor, you should be able to go to the Windows Update and see a link for
Windows Ultimate Extras there.

Let me know if this helps!

Best Regards,

Will

If you've re-installed Vista the dream scene updates should be re-offered
via Windows Update. I've re-installed Vista two or three times and dream
scene has always been offered by automatic update.

Hi John,
Yes it was re-offered and I dowloaded it. It installed O.K and it's
working well but as I said before I only get one file to play instead of
the few that were initialy available. It is that few I'm trying to get a
hand on.

Make sure you reboot, and refresh the Windows Update, and you should see an
extra pack of dreamscenes.

You can also download DeskScapes from Stardock, which will give you access
to more animated wallpapers.

Windows Updates has always downloaded 'all' dreamscene's when I have
re-installed. Yes, as you say, you get one to start off with and then the
update pack a few days later - well that's how its worked with me. (see:
