1. Install the VM Additions, then use shared folders or drag and drop
them.
2. Use standard Windows networking and access the files that way, i.e.
from the run line: " \\%hosts-name\c$"

Hi,

I have installed the Addition.
How to do next? I am new to VM.

Have you looked into the help file?

Right-click the folder icon in the VPC status bar, click Shared
Folders and pick the one you want. You can also do it from the VM's
menu...the VM must be running to do this. I can't give you exact
instructions since I don' have a system running VCP2007 handy, but you
can search the VPC help for shared folders and it will guide you
through.

From the Edit menu, select Settings, then Shared Folders. Enter the
Pathname to the folder on the HOST to be shared and give it an unused drive
letter.

It is simpler to right-click in the status bar as you described above and
then navigate to the folder on the host.
