get Messenger chat content

Hi,
After closing my Messenger chat with my friend, a log file is generated with
the conversation history in it.
I would like that a program which I develop will use the text which was
written and send to me, but I want to do it as much as can be done on real
time, meanning that right after my friend wrote me text, pressed enter, than
besides that the text will be shown in the chat window, it will also show in
my program/some log file to be used. I write in VB, but it doesn't really
matter.
If the logfile is generated after the conversation was closed, I guess that
there is some sort of access to the data itself (before the conversation is
closed)?

Messenger Plus Live (www.msgplus.net) will save conversations as they happen.

You can also use the Messenger Plus Live scripting engine to get any text being typed and do
whatever you want with it.
