If you want to get fast and problem free PC performance you have to
clean registry up of the unimportant entries on regular basis. With
error free registry you get faster and better PC performance for sure
as these factors mainly depend on the condition of your PC registry.
Window registry is an organised way of keeping the system information
that is crucial for the smooth functioning of the PC. The registry
file is used by the Windows operating system for storing all the
information about the hardware and software configuration and system
settings of the computer. These data is then accessed by the system
while running the computer.
As the registry is meant to store the information the hardware and
software settings of the computer, whenever you make any change to
them an entry is generated in the registry file. With continuous use
of the computer, the number of these entries keeps on increasing and
most of these entries, especially those are old an outdated are not
used by the system. These outdated entries that are no longer required
for the functioning of the PC is one of the many reasons behind
registry errors and a sluggish PC. Fragmented entries left by faulty
uninstallation and embedded keys generated by malware programs also
create registry errors. If you clean registry up from time to time the
registry is not cluttered with these wrong entries. The result is an
error free PC registry that guarantees optimum performance....

Really? I'd have thought the matter was pretty much cut and dried, at least
amongst those without a financial interest in selling snake-oil. There simply
isn't any way a registry "cleaner" can reliably tell which entries belong and
which don't; the only real way to clean the registry is to reinstall the OS.

Harry.
