Is there a box to check that says " Hide this update " when you click
the Cancel button ? That *should* prevent it from being installed again.
You could also attempt to delete it from the WINDOWS\Software
Distribution\Download and WINDOWS\$hf_mig$ folders, if present in both.
The copy in the Download folder will have a different name than
KBKB892841. Poke around in there and see if you can locate and delete it.
Suggest stopping the AU service from with the Services console, show
hidden files, folders, and system files, then delete the cached copy.
Restart the AU service, reboot the system. The update may still be
offered to install, but there will be no local copy to install.
Cancel the installation if offered again. Hide the update.
