How to get rid of IE7 update?

I have 2 updates waiting for me; IE7 and windows genuine advantage. I don't
mind the WGA but i'm not ready for IE7.
I used to be able to choose the updates i wanted to download but not
anymore. How can i can rid of the IE7 update and download WGA? Thanks!!!

Do the "custom" scan & not the "express(recommended)" & when it shows what
updates are there to install,click on the + & at the bottom of the
description of the update,check the box [X] that says to not show this
update again.
