can someone explain to me why there are new folders being made from time
to time under recovered messages and why I cant delete the folder from
windows mail? I right click and select delete but nothing happens...
The folders under recovered messages are all empty and it is annoying!

I would like to know more about all this since this is new (outlook
express did not have this thing)

I don't know, but you may need to check if your computer is set to
around a day and a half off the correct date and time. This sometimes
causes assorted problems.

That often happens when the computer was shut down or
rebooted unexpectedly, causing the database to lose track
of messages, which then have to be re-indexed and put into
the recovered messages folder. Anything that corrupts the
database can result in 'recovered' messages.
