How to obtain the latest Windows XP service pack:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322389/

WinXP SP3 - Read all prerequisites for a successful installation
http://msmvps.com/blogs/harrywaldron...tallation.aspx

The free unlimited installation and compatibility support for WinXP SP3 has
been extended (but certainly not indefinitely) beyond the original 14 April
2009 cut-off date. Open your browser to
http://support.microsoft.com/oas/def...spx?gprid=1173 | select
Windows XP | select Windows XP Service Pack 3

Short answer:

Download the SP3 full executable:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Download the SP3 ISO image to burn to CD:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Longer answer - with how you can get such answers on your own in the
future...

Not much into looking before asking, eh? *grin*

That's okay - each to their own - but in case you just didn't know you could
search:

Now is a great time to point you to one of the easiest ways to find
information on problems you may be having and solutions others have found:

Search using Google!
http://www.google.com/
(How-to: http://www.google.com/intl/en/help/basics.html )

Example:

A google search for:
download "Windows XP" "service pack 3"
http://www.google.com/search?q=downl...vice+pack+3%22
( * notice the quotation marks to keep important phrases together )

Would have led you to:
First Hit:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Now - perhaps you would like the ISO - which is the image of the CD you can
write to your own CD for easy installation.

A google search for:
download "Windows XP" "service pack 3" CD
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&n...e+pack+3%22+CD
(* same search, added CD to the end )

Would have led you to:
Second Hit:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Maybe you don't know how to write said ISO (image) to CD. No problem:

A google search for:
create CD from ISO image
http://www.google.com/search?q=create+CD+from+ISO+image

Would have given you a great start, including the third hit for a free
application to do it for you:
