Is your GDIChk Object enabled? :P
Just suggesting... you didn't get the same error message as me... but after
installing SP2 and the GDI+ Detection thingy. WU no longers works for me...

I just solved it realising that it's the GDI installation giving me problem.
IE blocked the installation for some strange reason and it never installs
correctly even though the message after installation is successful.

I re-installing and make sure IE never blocks it off. Now WU works just fine
for me.

Hi,

I have exactly the same error message too and don't know how to fix it.
Could you tell me what the GDIChk Object is and what GDI is, so that I can
have a go at this? I am not very good with computers. Would really appreciate
some help.
