I got the same problem. I've tried connecting the SATA cable that connects
to my motherboard to other SATA connectors on my motherboard, but Vista 32
still does not see my eSATA drive any more.
When first connected my eSATA drive Vista 32 Ultimate ed. found the drive (I
was in Control Panel ->Administrative Tools -> Computer Mamagement -> Disk
Management and saw it was detected) Vista 32 operated on it (formatting it?
Activating it?). When the drive quited down Vista 32 said the drive was not
connected! When in fact it was! Now Vista32 can not detect any more!
So sick of Vista!!
