Getting Live Messenger to recognize MAC video camera

Using Parallels on an intel Mac, I'm running XP SP2 with no problems, but I'm
unable to get live messenger to recognize my embedded video camera. No
problems with the microphone or sound card on the MAC.

I'd like a step-by-step guide to make it work.
Thanks.
Don.

Greetings Don,

I don't have a Mac, so I'm just thinking allowed but does the camera show up in the device
manager in Windows as per normal? If so, try going through the Audio and Video Setup (see
the Tools menu or press Alt-T, then choose it), and see what it lists as devices at the end
of the wizard for camera devices.

Jonathan,
The built-in camera (Isight) was recognized as a USB 2.0 device and is
listed in device manager. Problem seems to be in locating a driver for it.
Maybe Parallels needs to supply the driver. I haven't been able to find a
file when browsing for it. I'll query the Parallels folks, too.

Let me know if you find an answer first. And thanks!
Don.

Hi,

Or Apple.. Doesn't Bootcamp now have a Windows driver for the iSight? If so, you probably
can port it over.
