Getting a new computer: Do I need to unregister a Active Sync and Outlook?

I'm getting a new company computer today. All data on the
old one is getting wiped out. They will not transfer
Outlook and Active Sync for me to my new computer.

I have Active Sync and Outlook registered on two computers
(1. my (old) company computer and 2. my home computer.)

Do I need to uninstall or unregister Active Sync and
Outlook in order to install it onto my new company
computer? If so, I can uninstall but I don't know how to
unregister.

Thanks!

Hi,
When you sync with the new PC you will be asked to setup a partnership and
delete an existing partnership with a PC. Select the old PC that you have
replaced. Then sync.

Don't worry about ActiveSync, just install it again. I wouldn't worry about
Outlook too much either. You are complying with the license, as I assume the
IT guys will just wipe the old PC. Bring in the registration code and use it
to re-install. If you had to Activate the copy of Outlook you had, and that
causes you problems this time, there will be a manual process presented for
you to follow. It involves calling MS, giving them the million digit code in
front of you on the screen, and then typing in the million characters they
read back to you. (exaggerating). Likely you won't have an issue as Outlook
is normally licensed for a desktop and a laptop so installing on two
machines doesn't normally trigger the manual activation.
