getting rid of the status bar in some game sites

I play in Pogo.com, and i did get rid of the status bar as far as going into
the rooms there, but once i sit at a table to play, the status bar is still
there and it blocks the area where I type to chat, how do I get rid of it in
there? It is annoying me. I DO NOT like this IE 7. Why do people feel the
need to " upgrade anything" when what they have is perfectly fine. This is
most annoying also. I just hate this.

Right-click on a blank area in the Tab Bar and remove the checkmark from
Status Bar.

You might find it easier to simply increase the size of the window.

I would hazard that most people who use a web browser are more concerned
with their online security than playing kiddie games, so any upgrade
that provides more security is welcome.

Visit the Pogo Support site:

Type Status Bar into the Search Help field and click Search button.

When the search results are returned, click on:
"Why can't I see the chat window properly in Internet Explore".

This brings up a page:

"Why can't I see the chat window properly in Internet Explorer 7?"

Follow the instructions:

To remove the address and status bars from the Internet Explorer 7 browser
on your Pogo game screens.
