I have Internet Explorer and, more important, Yahoo E-mail. Lately I'm
getting thousands of duplicate messages, most beginning with Mail
Delivery Subsystem and they all look like this:

This is simply back-wash from undeliverable spam, originally sent using your
e-mail address fraudulently as the "From" address. Therefore all
non-delivery messages are sent back to you. There is very little you can do
to stop this happening, apart from closing your e-mail account and opening
another with a different address, or using a smarter spam filter.

By the way, your post was off-topic for this newsgroup, which is concerned
only with the Windows Update feature.

Grab the hoods and the noose, an off topic poster has sneaked in!
