Getting SP2 update on Vista Home Premium

I'm being told by Apple that I need to have the SP2 update. I currently only
have SP1. How can I get my computer updated with SP2? Is there a link to
download for free?

SP-2 for what?
There is no Service Pack 1 or 2 for windows Vista so there is no
download.
That discounts the Beta which is not relevant.
If you have installed the Beta of Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista ,
that may be your problem.
Uninstall the Beta.

There is no Service Pack 2 (SP2) for Windows Vista, Apple must be referring
to Windows XP which has a SP2 you can download from the Microsoft website.

There is no SP2 for any of the Vistas. There is a release candidate (I.e. a
little better than a beta) SP1 but I would not recommend it until it is
released to manufacturer.

There is no SP2 for Vista. There is not even an SP1 for Vista released
yet. SP1 is expected in the first half of next year.
