My point was...if you are sure you didn't add (Block) the domain in the Cox
web UI settings, and if Cox didn't automatically do it then the only other
possibilities are magic or account compromise....i.e. change the password
and other security related settings.

My previous response to this was blocked. No, I rarely use gmail, yahoo
mail or hotmail. It's been months since I've used any of those. My
primary
mail is WLM from my COX server.

I've a Gmail account and the only way I know of blocking a domain and for
it to appear blocked in the web UI is via a user accessing the web UI, i.e.
not Google changing the settings for a user account.
If web UI settings were changed without my involvement then I wouldn't
hesitate to reset my password.

Thanks, Winston. It would seem you suspect gmail might have gotten blocked
by COX due to a security reason. Possible, but I rarely use Gmail,
Hotmail,
or Yahoo mail. I don't recall using any of them for the past 6 months.
And I don't use COX security, I use Windows 7 security. My primary mail
is WLM using COX as my server. . But....maybe you're right. And it's a
simple thing to change my account password.

Glad to hear you report the problem was in the Cox web mail UI.
A few follow questions regarding security...
- Have you recently used the web mail interface to receive mail from
senders using Gmail ?
- Did you receive mail from Gmail senders in the past in the Cox web mail
UI ?
If yes, and you did not block the gmail domain in the Cox email web UI,
then you might for security reasons consider changing your Cox email
account password.

Does Cox have a webmail feature? Are the messages from gmail.com
accessible through the webmail interface. If they are not, are they in a
spam/junk/blocked webmail folder?
Good stuff, Magnus. That got me on the right track. Emails from gmail
weren't present online at Cox mail either so I knew the problem was there
and not part of WLM problem. In COX email Inbox I was able to choose
Settings...Advanced Blocking...Enable Blocking and view the emails and
domains listed there. Bingo! Somehow gmail.com was there. I deleted it
and now can receive emails from Google (gmail.com) in both online COX mail
and in WLM on my computer.
