Hello MGT1AHT,
Gmail made a decision that deleting a message in a folder over IMAP would
correspond to removing that label from the message in their web interface.
This means that deleting a message in your Inbox maps to removing the
“Inbox” label from the message (same thing as archiving in the Gmail web
interface). To actually delete a message over IMAP, you have to drag the
message you want to the [Gmail]/Trash folder.
Thanks for using Windows Live Mail,

Hello team - so what I am missing? Running WLM on RC1. All functions seem to
work (send/receive/move) except deleting only appears to remove from INBOX.
Any help? Thanks much.
