gmail slow

Hi,

when I open gmail account in WLMDB its very slow. Sometimes it looks as if
it has hang up, but it progresses so slow.

The settings are done as described in gmail help for POP settings, under
setting it for outlook.

is it slow for everyone, or is there a way around?
