Hi,
I'm switching cable providers so I will be needing a new email account.
Is it better to use those internet email accounts or use my new cable's
email like before?
I need POP / SMTP mostly and I don't really like looking at web mail
applications so I guess the interface doesn't really matter. Unless
there's something special about the web applications that I'm not aware
of since I never used them. Please indicate.
One thing I liked about Live Mail is that it has free push email it
seems. Although I can technically forward mail to Live when I need push
email since I don't normally use it and require that urgency. But I
guess it's good to have that option in case.
Also, if I use the internet mails, will it prefilter SPAM? And would I
have to log into the web site to see which ones are "false"? My current
cable company doesn't filter SPAM so my Outlook security suite plugin
does. It also has this "Junk E-Mail" folder and I don't know how things
go into there. But sometimes I notice it catches wrong things but at
least I get to check the folder in one place. I would hate to have to
log into a Web Site just to check my SPAM folder.
Thanks for any input!
