My Mum upgraded her laptop from Windows XP to Vista. Since then she has had
nothing but problems. Her system run slow, the only screen saver she can run
is the Vista one, the others just wount run. Games are running so slow its
driving her mad. So the question is this, Can she go back to XP???

Hi,

Of course she can but only by clear install of Windows XP.

At that point, she might as well do a clean install of Vista (which she
should have done in the first place). Updates almost always have these
kinds of problems.

Are we sure her hardware and software is supported under Vista??

Hi,

Yes, she can go back. The upgrade likely created a windows.old file that
houses the original installation. Use the steps here:
