I've got good news so far...
I went to windows update & downloaded manually
And everything seems to be working good at the moment
No troubles...
I've got some more things to check out and check out my tweaks, etc.
But so far so good

someone gave the link out here earlier; it's available now
go to start on your pc, windows update, click on the crtical updates, it will scan your pc and tell u that you need sp2 (it's in red i believe)
and it downloads
Took about 20 mins to download (around 20 mins) on cable connection
Took about 15 mins to install
Could have been less time but I think it took forever cuz' I sat here and watched it, LOL!
It restarted, came up with security features which I really didn't change anything there and it was good to go.

Two ways..1st Click on the start button. 2nd go upto and
click on Windows Update. Windows Update page will open,
you may be asked to update this page to version 5, but be
aware that some have had problems with V5. If you do get
to the Update Page after a period of time you will be
given two choice on how to install. Choose Custom
Install. Once again the green bar goes back and forth,
and then you should see the page allowing you to download
SP2. For the second way to get to Windows Update. If
you are online and using Internet Explorer, Click
on "Tools" at the top of your browser. Next go down and
click on Windows Update. Follow the remaining steps.
Good Luck

Jim:
I am not trying to be a wise guy. But what do you mean
by "stop posting HTML"? If I am posting to this
newsgroup from http://support.microsoft.com/.... am I
posting in HTML? If so how do I avoid it.
Thank You,
Alex
