gost folder?

In my Desktop I have a Folder Created by Media Sudio for iPod.
A unique folder inside is empty, and when I try delete it, appears a message
this folder doen't exit!
I can't delete this folder. I've try clean with clean softwares but nothing
happen.
Do someone can help me to solve this mystery?

I forget say the message that I receive when try delete:
Could not find this item

This item is no longer locate in C:\Users\trosas\Desktop\My Movies. Verify
the iten's location and try again.
I've made a search and I saw again this empty folder... but when I delete it
I received the same message!

Just out of interest. Have you yet tried the removal in safe mode (F-8)

Any particular reason that you have to delete the file or folder? Is it
causing problems? Why can't you just leave it alone and see if Ipod uses it
somehow?

Hi Teresa,

In that vein – been is safe mode

Try this

Suggest cleaning up the system (clearing out all the Temp/Tmp folders, and

included all offline content, clearing the browser TIF, Delete Cookies , do a

Disk CleanUp.


Please confirm your system clock and Time Zone also the Date set properly,

Hu Engel,

I've made all you sugestions, but the folder (an empty folder) is visible,
but doen's exist aparently...
It is strage because if I put some information inside, it acept, and if I
delete the stuff inside I can delete and continues empty...

It happened wen I've trying copy a DVD disc of a partty, with a name "Leonor
Rocha e". It is the name of DVD. But, I can change this folder inside all
computer with no problem. And, when I've trying use the same soft again with
the same DVD, it make another folder with this name, and I can delete this
one!!!

I remember in the firt time I get an error from software and I don't convert
anything...

It's so wired and I'm curious about this...

The only reason is that "gost empty folder" is trash...
And the iPod don't use it. Please, real my answer to Engel, and you can see
why I'm so "curious" about this...
But is real, don't causing no problem at all. It's only an empty folder with
a stupid name...

I've got a folder that's displaying exactly the same behavior and error
message.

I can't help with the solution but just out of curiosity, does the
folder name end in two (or more) full stops or other punctuation marks?

Hi Lee,

No the name is that, but this folder is a result from an error when I use
the first time the program. The program creates automactily a folder in
desktop <My Movies> and inside the other with the DVD name, and inside the
..VOB's etc. When I move these folters My Movies> Leonor Rocha e to another
place, I've tried again the program. And work well! Make again My Movies>
Leonor Rocha e again in desktop. Later I had delete these new folders and
it's ok! But anyway the old one is in the computer, now in my documents...
because I can't delete it

I'm so confuse about this... and curious

If you discovery some clue, please, answer again ok?
