i got two new administrative accounts plus my normal account with admin privellegies

hi guys
i was on my normal account which had admin privellegies and my lapto
is used by many people so i changed the permission of my hard drive C:
for their account which is the guest account to "do not allow
some how i think i managed to change the permission for me too. so no
i cant access the c drive on my computer with my normal account
then i logged on as the main adminnistrator by doing the cmd and th
run as adminnistrator and then restarting it
and i tried to change the premission and it still said access denied.
am on the main administrator account which i enabled and i still can
get access
when i checked i also saw two accounts one which said administrator an
the other administrators
all the premissions are given to "administrators user".
how can i log on to the administrators account

so in total i got 4 accounts
-gues
-user(me)adiministrator privellagie
-administrato
-administrator

It's not worth the trouble in my opinion, but here's how you do it:

To log into the "proper" account named "administrator" the only easy way
I know of is to run the sysprep utility in "audit" mode and reboot the
computer. The administrator account password is still "default" on a
fresh vista so when you log in you might want to set a proper password
(it's effectively blank!)

Warning: vista home basic's version of sysprep has 2 plugins: "audit
mode" and "oobe" ... There's a potentially undesired effect in "oobe"
mode (oobe is the only way I can figure to permenantly exit sysprep
"audit" mode) the brand-new user account you were forced to create will
end up in the registry as the "official owner" of the copy of windows
(in as much as running task manager and then "help -> about" will say
"This product is licensed under the Microsoft Software License Terms to:
<<new account you just created>>") So... sysprep is not a good way to
access your "administrator" account unless you figure out how to exit
audit mode without using "oobe" (oobe mode assumes it is your "first"
account and changes the "registered to" name)

Actually, I'm 100% not sure what you are saying. Hopefully you can at
least log on! If you can, I realized that I didn't explain how to even
find the sysprep tool (it's a dangerous thing to mess with, I'm warning
you!)

If you can at least log in, you'll need to hit [windows key on keyboard]
and the letter "R" at the same time (win+r) or otherwise open the "run"
menu. I don't generally like the new version of the start menu.

type this:

%windir%\system32\sysprep

So... when that folder opens, right click the icon for "sysprep.exe" and
then select the "run as administrator option" ... as I said before,
"audit mode" will be available next time your system boots.

I can't promise you'll manage to exit audit mode without using "oobe"
but since you managed to break the permissions on your main admin
account, it might actually be a good thing to do oobe mode anyway (it
will force you to create a new account with admin rights)

In this case, you had better hope that the OEM / PC builder / store that
installed vista for you in the first place left the admin account in
with a default / blank password (when you reboot, it might just fail to
log into the admin account all together saying "wrong password" if it
has been changed)

my whole laptop is not working properly. so i dont know where to really
start.
i can connect to the internet and everything but all i cant do is get
access to my c drive? i tried loggin in as administrator and i have
tried altering the registry.
i used to get a message saying some paths and folders cant be
accessed.accesse is denied but after changing the registry i dont get it
message anymore but now my sound is down. my speakers r not working.its
says my audio service in not running.
all i want to do it get access to my hard drive.
i also have two administrator on my laptop...one "administrator" and
the other "administrators"
any clues?
anymore information about the problem.give me a shout....
