I have an older laptop, that I recently, I think 2002 right when xp came out.
Well anyway it got bugged up over the years, and I didn't have anything
importanted on it so I decided to do a clean restore. Format the harddrive.
So I did and now I can't seem to get windows to update. I go to the page
checks for direct x. Then I get to choose custom or express. I've tried them
both and all it does is the green bar goes forever. Any sugestions. Thanks
Scott.
