Group Policy + Vista

Hello friends:

I have recently setup a Vista Business workstation and joined it Windows
2003 Active Directory domain, but when I logged on to the AD domain from
this workstation, I didn't get any drives mapped or printers installed. Is
there a reason that group policies didn't run on Vista? any ideas would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hey ocean-
Vista should process those policies just fine but if you're implementing
them via GP logon scripts, there are some issues related to running those on
Vista. I've blogged about this recently at
(http://blogs.dirteam.com/blogs/gpoguy/). Bottom line is, check out the
following article:
http://technet2.microsoft.com/Window...cf7631033.mspx
and look for the section entitled, "Group Policy Scripts can fail due to
User Account Control"
