GRRR KB922770

Am guessing everyone is v v bored of ppl askin bout this one but am i right
in sayin if repairing .NET Framework 2 doesnt work then i should uninstall it
completely then go bak to updates and re-install??? What about NET 1?? Do i
need that still too?

Yes.

After .Net Framework 2.0 is uninstalled, install it again using the
download link found here:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923100


If you are not able to uninstall .Net 2.0 from Add/Remove Programs, use
the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility to uninstall .Net Framework 2.0:

You might have programs installed that needs earlier versions of the
..Net Framework.

Unfortunately i went to the microsoft side you said this a.m and it isn't
there !!! So am no nearer to fixing it yet but thanks for the advice & i'll
keep trying....
