I think it safe to say at this point as people are getting Windows 7
today and its full rollout will be tomorrow, and still no windows 7
newsgroup, that there will not be one.

I wonder why?

That is correct. Windows 7 Answers Forum is where you can ask questions
without being exposed to the off-topic, garbage posts in newgroups.

Is there a reason why there is no w7 newsgroups?

Even though the ISP eliminated there own newsgroup, does not mean
people cant access them. I use individual news service.

Otherwise, you going to get a lot of W7 question in the Vista and xp
groups.
