Guest account - internet access

Running Windows Vista SP1 on a laptop - two accounts, Administrator and
Guest. I am using a mobile broadband connection (via USB modem). However,
my son who has been known to visit "inappropriate" sites and has
"accidentally" downloaded malware onto my computer is now being required to
access the internet via a Guest account only (thereby, I hope, avoiding
installing crapware onto my computer) but the internet connection does not
seem to work despite having a shortcut icon on the desktop for his Guest
account. How do I give him access to the internet? The connection works
under the Administrator account but not under Guest.

Guest account doesn't allow programs to be installed?

My belief: you should leave the Guest account alone and create a new
Standard account for your son. The Guest account is more restricted than a
Standard account. It's usually not even enabled, AFAIK.

I just logged into the Standard account that I made for visitors; I had
internet access without doing anything.
