Hi,

Initiate the restore per your manufacturer's instructions (they differ
widely, refer to system documentation), choose to return to factory state.

If this is not the hard drive that Vista is installed on, then you ca
just open Computer from the Start menu and right click on the drive an
click format to do so

If you are wanting to format and reinstall Vista, then please post bac
what brand and model of computer you have so we can post back th
instruction on how with your OEM D: recovery partition

I think that we should have a newsgroup for VISTA
preinstalls. Preinstalls are OEM and they are not supported
by Microsoft. The builder must provide support. The above
type posts just use up bandwidth and clutter up the group
for those of us trying to learn something.
